After attempting to negociate the muddy waters of loan modification, etc, re HAMP, for more than a year, failing repeatedly, we hired Jason and Associates. They worked with us over time, essentially taught BoA the HAMP and Fannie Mae programs, and succeeded in accomplishing more than I had hoped for! We were in the middle of a foreclosure, and originally found one of those “fly by night” firms. After doing some research, we learned that we were in a scam. Then we found Jason McGrath with McGrath & Spielberger. Not only did they walk the walk, they talked the talk! Everything was done quickly, our home was saved and we received the loan modification that we needed. I recommend this company for anyone who is in home foreclosure.

To this day, after successful resolution of our matter involving debt settlement with a bank out of Asheville, we have not met Jason in person. I used the firm for the seller side of residential property transaction. The buyer’s attorney was wiling to do both sides of closing, however I opted for my own representation. Even with slightly higher fees of this firm, I saved about $1000 due to M & S successful advocacy about taxes due in the closing. The firm did fine job for me.

Thank you so much for your help with our situation with the Internal Revenue Service. I had prepared and paid my taxes correctly each year, but the tax service I used for 4 years did not file them properly. Instead of penalizing my tax service, the IRS penalized me, even though I filed and paid my taxes every year. Originally, I considered hiring a Tax Resolution Service to represent me. But, after reading reviews for those companies, it appeared to me that many of their clients were simply trying to reduce their tax debt. In my case, I had done everything right, and I did not want to be labeled or looked at as someone who was just wanting to have their taxes reduced. I wanted the fines eliminated!!! At first, I tried to explain my situation on my own to the IRS. They denied my request the first time to eliminate my fines, as they said that even though I used a tax service to prepare my taxes, the results were still my responsibility. Finally, I hired this law firm to represent me in an appeal. I have no idea how you explained the situation better than I did, but I just received letters from the Internal Revenue Service stating that my account for those years was settled and paid in full. Dealing with a foreclosure is a very scary thing. I was about to lose my home of 17 years to a mortgage company, that did not follow the laws. The mortgage company lied to me flat out. I tried to deal with them on my own but could not get anywhere with them. After trying to talk to both the Mortgage company and their Lawyer I finally gave up and started to research online information. I saw nothing can be done to stop a foreclosure once it has started. When I finally obtained legal council my house had actually already been sold at the court house. I thought I would never get my home back. I was making arrangements for my 3 kids and myself to start moving. The mortgage company held off answering my calls or returning my calls to be able to obtain ownership of my almost paid off home. I am telling you all this so you understand just how bad it was. My house was foreclosed and sold before Kelly Brown came into the picture. It took 3 months and a lot of years on my part, but my home is now my home again! Even though the Mortgage company had bought my house back at the foreclosure sale ( I knew nothing about and was never advertised) Kelly Brown fought and reversed everything. I needed Jasons Help with a business licensing agreement and a merchandising agreement I was asked to sign. I am so glad I asked him to look at them because he found several things that needed to be changed in my favor and the best interest of both parties. If I didn’t have Jasons help, I could have signed these agreements that would have been a big problem if I ever needed to dispute something court with the agreements.
